1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the YouTube Summary browser extension or using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Service Description

YouTube Summary is a browser extension that generates AI-powered summaries and timestamps for YouTube videos based on available video transcripts.

Important limitation: Our service requires that the YouTube video has an available transcript (either auto-generated by YouTube or manually uploaded by the video author). For videos without transcripts, summaries cannot be generated. This is a technical limitation outside of our control.

3. Subscription Plans

We offer the following plans:

• Free: 2 summaries (one-time, lifetime).
• Pro: 50 summaries per month. $4.99/month or $39/year.
• Premium: 150 summaries per month. $9.99/month or $79/year.

4. Subscription Renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected period (monthly or yearly). At the end of each period, you will receive a renewal invoice via email. To continue your subscription, complete the payment from the invoice. If payment is not completed within 7 days of the renewal date, your subscription will downgrade to the Free plan.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or access restrictions.
• Resell or redistribute our service without permission.
• Use automated tools to abuse the service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service depends on third-party providers (YouTube, AI APIs) which may experience outages outside our control.

8. Intellectual Property

The YouTube Summary extension, website, and all related content are owned by us. YouTube videos and their content remain the property of their respective owners. We do not claim ownership of video transcripts or summaries derived from them.

9. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time by stopping payment for the next renewal cycle.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email to subscribed users.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation.
